The ARCHIV DER JUGENDKULTUREN (Archive of Youth Cultures) is an information and competence centre for youth cultures. It collects, researches and communicates knowledge about youth cultures and their lifeworlds. Its aim is to enable a critical and differentiated discussion of youth cultures and scenes. The archive runs a reference library in Berlin, publishes on youth cultures, advises ministries and other organisations, runs workshops for children and young people on music, art, dance or fashion and is intensively dedicated to the political and cultural education of disadvantaged young people.
