As a harm reductionist, drug policy researcher and educator, and promoter of a vision-oriented future, Jacob has a strong track record of facilitating policy-focused discussions and community trainings centering on enhancing the role of safety within nightlife. Through his contributions to the Vienna Club Commission’s ‘Safer Nightlife’ focus group and various public appearances in Vienna, he has been elevating concepts such as a ‘Safer Party Label’ in Vienna and offering visionary solutions to handling drug consumption in nightlife, contextualizing ‘safer nightlife’ within the larger international drug policy debate as it moves away from a prohibitionist-only perspective, towards a shared vision of liberation.
