For most of my adult life I have participated in various consensus collectives. Collectives for me, are alternatives to not only toxic hierarchies, but also to unsupportive family and abusive labour practices. All of my collective work has been organised around issues relating to social justice, from peer-2-peer anti-bullying initiatives in primary school to a Quaker-formed "Pages to Prisoners" project and currently "Anarchist Awareness Alliance". Outside of this work I also run dual-language tours for academic and gradeschool groups relating to anti-colonially-framed histories of oppression, resistance, and culture throughout Germany.
