About
Chris is currently immersed in his PhD research, examining the impacts of harm reduction strategies in nightlife and festival settings, through a cross-national comparative analysis. He has recently completed a systematic review on this topic. Beyond academia, he works as a harm reduction practitioner at Melbourne's medically supervised injecting room. He also volunteers for The Loop Australia, in the establishment and delivery of drug-checking services. He has also volunteered as a shift leader with DanceWize, a drug education and trip-sitting service at music festivals in Australia. Chris eagerly anticipates the opportunity to share his PhD research and insights at Stadt Nach Acht 2023!
