For the first time in its history, the European Union funded through the URBACT programme a network of cities active on the night-time economy. Cities After Dark is the action planning network led by Braga (Portugal) and having as partners cities such as Paris (France), Tallinn (Estonia), Nicosia (Cyprus), Malaga (Spain), Genoa (Italy), Varna (Bulgaria), Piraeus (Greece), Zadar (Croatia), Budva (Montenegro), which will be working together until December 2025 combining transnational exchanges to participatory action leading to integrated action planning on night-time economy. Simone d'Antonio, lead expert of Cities After Dark, will present the first elements that emerged from the site visits to the partners of the network, which is going to promote an innovative approach in the European debate on sustainable urban development.
