DJ Crawford has been active for more than 25 years. Starting in South Africa, moving to London and ending up in Berlin, he has sought to share his wide ranging and developing taste in music with the aim of moving people to dance and trance. Clubbing in Tokyo in the early 90s, the nascent house, techno and drum & bass scenes of post-apartheid South Africa, Andrew Weatherall’s Rotter’s Golf Club parties in London as well as Berlin’s love of techno have all left their mark. Significant friendships with African and Colombian music enthusiasts have helped to further widen his horizons, fuel his collector’s instinct and influence him as a DJ.
