Andrea is a currently a PhD researcher in Sociology at the University of Valencia (España) on the new female identities and subjectivities shaped around Spanish Free Party dance culture. She holds a degree in Sociology (2014-2018) and MA in Gender and equality policies from the University of Valencia. She is a member of Sota terra, a DIY female-lead collective that researches the figure of women in the free party, dance culture, dealing with issues such as sexuality, drug use or consumption. Her interests include topics as to popular music, subcultures, electronic music scenes, gender-based risk reduction, dance cultures, sexuality. All her research is characterized by the use of feminist epistemologies that place women at the center of knowledge.
